Sparkling Hibiscus Tonic Recipe

Sparkling Hibiscus Tonic Recipe

Our bright and bubbly mocktail blends strongly-brewed Organic Hibiscus with honey, sparkling water, and a splash of apple cider vinegar. Plus a squeeze of lime juice for added zing! The vibrant scarlet color and lively flavors of this antioxidant-rich tonic are perfect for refreshing summer sipping.

Makes 1 serving.

Ingredients

  • 2.5 tsp Organic Hibiscus
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp honey
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soda water
  • Lime wedge

Directions

    1. Bring the water to a boil. Pour over the organic hibiscus and steep for 7 minutes.
    2. While brewed tea is still warm, stir in honey.
    3. Allow tea and honey mixture to cool.
    4. Strain out the hibiscus and pour sweetened brew over ice.
    5. Gently stir in apple cider vinegar and soda water.
    6. Squeeze the lime wedge over top.
    7. Enjoy!

Note: If you prefer less pucker, reduce the amount of apple cider vinegar to 1-2 tsp. And, if you don't have apple cider vinegar on hand, simply add more fresh lime juice!
